Nowadays zombies erosion and creepy Asian horror stories are all the rage. I have to say, I don't mind. I have always been that one chick who likes a decayed flower over an alive one. Weird fact.
Well to get to the topic, a lot of the older hospitals, asylums, and penitentiaries are becoming material for hot topic. With Ghost hunters being as popular as they are, its no wonder that teenagers are feeling a switch from debasing an old potentially haunted building with graffiti to trying to preserve the images digitally.
No longer are we kiddos breaking in to do damage. We're the archaeologists for rot and rust. I find it unfortunate that the bad rap of 'destructive' ruins our (and I mean the one's who are with me on love of old and creepy) chances of being allowed to poke around these sites. Especially seeing as they're now being remodeled into hotels, or tourist attractions, or being demolished entirely.
Last Night me and Kai and the guys went to a TB Hospital 40 minutes away that is mid remodel. It's sad to watch all the old being mingled with endless new. A bowflex instead of a hospital gurney and similar things.
Well, all in all, it was a good shoot.

Holy Log-In!
Thank you to all my new followers and likes from my Daily Deviation! This was my first DD, and is was most certainly a spectacular surprise! My good friend DanikaMilles told me that I had received it, and my first reaction was disbelief. It's not as if my silly stock could possibly be worthy of that! But I was wrong, my Texture 218 'Flaky' was selected at the start of this month. I would like to take this moment to say hello and welcome to all my new followers, and that I am so humbled to have all of you here. I hope to upload more stock photography as time goes forward, and if there's anything that you would like to see, let me know :)

Finally managed to get myself a new camera, and I'm thoroughly excited. I have done nothing but take ridiculous facebook photos and texture shots for the last week. I hope that some of the light paintings I did will be of use to my stock-photo following. And if not, hell at least they're pretty.

Silent Hill
Not exactly a recent obsession, the beauty in chaos and destruction was hard to ignore. I have to say, I adore the Silent Hill series, which are simply photos taken to resemble screen shots from the games. I can't help but think that this is going to be a successful theme for my photography adventures.
From broken to cult fabulous.
